What’s great and what’s not
I enjoyed a spacious and clean room, with helpful staff who made check-in and storage seamless for our multi-day hikes.
Unfortunately, cleanliness issues persisted during our stay, and breakfast options felt limited with minimal variety each day.

Cutting through the noise
A charming stay that provided easy access to major attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, though some minor cleanliness issues surfaced. Breakfast options were decent but not extensive. The reception was occasionally hit-or-miss, which did affect our experience. Despite a few hiccups, the overall vibe was warm and inviting.

great location but noise from nearby street
The location was very convenient for exploring. I appreciated the comfortable beds that allowed me to sleep soundly. The staff were helpful and fluent in multiple languages, making communication easy.
However, occasional noise from the nearby street made it hard to fully enjoy the peace at times.

We had a great time staying here with our three kids. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the main street. The staff was friendly, making our check-in smooth, and one even offered us free coffee while we waited for our transportation.
In my wife’s opinion, more family-friendly activities would be great.

Staying here with friends was awesome! We visited the nearby museums and enjoyed the vibrant nightlife. The breakfast was solid, and the staff were super friendly, helping us with maps and recommendations. The location makes it easy to explore everything on foot, which I loved. The bar downstairs was a great spot to relax after a day out. Highly recommend it!
However, one downside was the lack of proper insulation in the rooms. it got pretty cold at night despite the heater.

I stayed for 3 nights. The room was spacious and warm. Breakfast had a great variety and was tasty. Free parking was a bonus as it was underground and heated. Staff were always polite and ready to help. 😊

This was my second stay in reykjavik and it surpassed my expectations, especially during the wedding ceremony. My room was warm and had fine views of the mountains. The breakfast was a good spread with fresh local breads, fruits, and delicious cheeses.
the shower head placement was awkward.
